Pro Wrestling was also ran at a venue called the West 16th Street Midget Track, across from the famed Indianapolis 500 Race track. I had never heard of it until recently, and found this info:
West 16th Street Speedway was built by Rags Mitchell just after WWII. The track operated from May 29th, 1946 through May 30th, 1958. The site was sold to a developer who built the shopping center that is there today.
This track also operated as Indianapolis Midget Speedway, Speedbowl Park, 16th Street Speedway, and Rag Mitchell's West 16th Street Speedway.

It's at last peruse a basically abandon shopping mall that permeates many local areas these days. It's been a dead mall for quite a while. Much of this info is from the site http://www.na-motorsports.com .
